Before we killed them<div>They used to be green with life</div><div>Waving branches to Life</div><div>They used to laugh seeds</div><div>All over the earth</div><div>Now they struggle to live</div><div>In pots, without depth</div><div>Axes set on their necks</div><div>When the earth is free&nbsp;</div><div>Before we killed them</div><div>They used to rise higher than hills</div><div>Though at the depth of hills</div><div>They housed beautiful creatures</div><div>Swimming in blue joy&nbsp;</div><div>Now the struggle against plastics</div><div>Toxics and catches&nbsp;</div><div>Spilling their homes</div><div>Reducing their descendants&nbsp;</div><div>Before we killed them&nbsp;</div><div>They walked the earth</div><div>And inherited the earth</div><div>Because they were meek</div><div>They bent to our rods</div><div>Yet we ripped them of their worth</div><div>For jingle and ruffle in our pockets</div><div>They become pictures and stories&nbsp;</div><div>We are like them</div><div>Before we killed them&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>
