MY ONLY LOVE

The shadow approaches without a face,
beauty seeks to be renamed, she got ashamed,
Nature used her last ink to pen her name,
her fairness have become to men a maze.

Her head patiently moulded by the creator,
men and women all wow'd by its perfect shape,
the roundness has become to many physicians a mentor,
Urge to feel nature grows as refined grape.

The moons all fall for her sclera whiteness,
skies touch have made my love iris blueish,
she has lost her lashes to baldness,
with every blinks she drop, I salivate my wish.

Hadn't I read the Genesis I'll assume she breathes life,
The path her nose trends knows no imperfection,
It's posture gave made me forget my regression,
All I wonder is my destination through its aisle.

Those smile threaten to steal my reincarnation,
Broad as the morning sunshine enacaved in a large sphere,
Your crisp made my lies loose its re-creation,
If memory revelish it's promise, I'll kiss your rare.

Her breast is full on righteousness plate,
Like the rivers of life she could breed salvation,
Flavoured courteously with neither love nor hate,
As an Afrikaan woman shows pride for her nation.

with every steps she makes you hear a tale,
her people whispers "those could be elephant's hip",
but my eyes are glued, my unhappy fate,
for her cause I could climb mountains even hills,

He who hears from the sky I repeat my prayer,
embed this love forever on the beating drum,
Oh make me nothing if nothing last ever,
Till the sun turns dark let her beauty storm.

I WILL BE HEARD

The white shadow said I got no wisdom,

With paper and pen I seeked knowledge,

For Needle and thread I abandoned my kingdom,

All I cherished I gave away for a new heritage.

My people, my pride all became worthless,

I could sacrifice all to make my path harmless,

My joy and nation all gone I am now selfish,

They palate on my message to make all rich.

Mr. Black Gold I once called has lost his name,

Mother Nature's blessing have brought a curse,

My ruler of sky I was made to believe is lame,

Ancient treasures paid that I might be purged.

As the waters cleansed my face to witness my fate,

Dreams all forgotten I want to go back home,

Behind the cloud I was with my sad tale,

Their promises were in a basket full of holes.

"Freedom" I cried, that I may be loosed,

The trees I neglected lifted their voices,

In chains we fought the proud goose,

My heroes past all crippled for my cause.

Hot tears rolled down my cheeks, what have I done?

My children fallen, my palace burnt, peace might come,

Independent I stand again to pick the crumbs thrown away,

Till the drums stop beating I will act the play.

"peace, perfect peace", we sing on the street,

Psalms written and sung, our ancestors fight we cherish,

Same sweat from battle filled with joy, bring  the meat,

Their weapons and fiery tangles have all perish,

As a lost hunter I've seen the dance of the spirit,

My eyes are cleansed,  my legs learnt new path,

The king's palace they got burnt added beauty to it,

I left my vomit under my adversary's Hut, am patched.

Your strength shall I renew,  he promised all,

Your lands and womb shall bring forth fruits,

Dedicate your future into my hands let me bear your fall,

Shed no tears, say your prayers, make me your mule.

The tortoise voice I listened to have stole my portion,

On their seat have passed false judgements,

To where do I go, my orator have brought me commotion,

I will be heard, to my country name I pledge.

How We Got Here

                HOW WE GOT HERE

The nature anthem kept us alive

May our curiosity make us not wait

For every single step we try to make

We upload our hopes on silver plate.

Oh Oh what men are we today

Keeping up the struggle is our pain

Relentlessly we work hard everyday

We like ants never await the rain.

How did we get here is what I ask

With mansions built up up to task

"work like you lost your creator" I hear

If that's our driving force, whisper to my ear.

Just as the tortoise we left our past behind

Dreaming for a better future on our mind

Gone are the days men dream ajar

Our actions spoke, upbringing us this far.

We never reach our destination as we get better

The sky never limiting men not the opposing weather

But when will this lightning finally get home

Will our greed let us even Bend or stope.

Men never wanting to falter is how we got here

Making the world a better place is our gracious pledge

With the wind and sun helping us we cannot fear

Still yet after the hypothesis, God is our help

No Time To Break-Up

                    No time to break-up

My people, my country, my pride
Oh my pain as I hear the lies
If only nature have treated us right
The smile on our faces would be bright.

Mother Earth gave us her precious soil
Father sky gave her wind for us to toil
Sister cloud brought her rain for the grain
Brother sun smile was not in vain.

What have we done to merit all these
We like tools when the creator lease
Who brought the day to good and bad
Forgiving our sin making them our past.

With all things we daily raise our cry
If only it was heard we would smile
But our governors have encased our joy
watch us weep like we are just a toy.

Let's come together united we stand
Fight for our right as a real man
No time to weep in our secret places
With self-esteem lets show our faces.

Running away won't make us proud
Let's shout the country's name loud
Without us they can't raise their cups
Let's Govern, no time for break-ups.

Shadowing the invisible

The uncreated's tale I heard in a whisper;

b'fore existence I was named, am no wizard,

Through my voice all that is gold will glitter,

In one breath the Earth would go greener,

Unbirthed, but never did I seek my father.

In the image of the Invisible I am made,

I have the hands of him that never age,

power unprecedented I can command all,

with the feet of a mighty God I stand tall,

Men we are, with eyes I witnessed my fall.

I'v lost lost my fear, in his reflection I glow,

how do I weep a tear when am a shadow,

He promised and I became immortal,

could be stronger if not my impatience,

the creation of evil made me impotent .

for the curse of sin I have been cast away,

in the Earth I did bury my face in shame,

A new God with my reflection did save me,

my bias taken away so that I can see,

with this power I will shadow the invisible.

I HAVE SEEN MY BACK

Kindled by the fire that keeps awake the life,
I thought it easy if with my will I strive,
With tears I opened my eyes to reality,
Observing the painful dilemma unseemly.

mansions sitting same page as Kilimanjaro
as men of Honour walks along it marrow,
machines equipped every wit like a god,
so high it became priceless than  gold.

with a glance you could claim two world,
where the second with tears lick his wound,
as busy as the bee you will think him rich,
with his words of wisdom the top is his reach.

lessons from the rich then the poor I learnt,
with caution I climb each step to be the first,
I might fall the second warned but I will stand,
in the strongest turbulence I won't turn my back.

My 2023 ANTHEM

stand up my fellow citizens

our chance to set all aright

with courage we will stand

let our finger-print speak

humiliation has now lost us

with faith we will triumph.

what's your 2023 anthem?

NO PERFECT HOME

up the hill reside a home built on resources
it's neighbors made the structure like ashes
the dwellers curse everyday its imperfections
they all gossip on the old man's declarations.

looking across the oceans they see a fair land
if you dwell in thought of its riches you go mad
from the windows of their home they see peace
in all whispers "All will be well if I cross the sea".

neglecting their failures they all blame the soil
if the creator was fair I should have more spoil
I should have been birth in the city flowing in gold
where all is well and the government knows good.

if the tenants have read the history of the neighbors
they could have heard the sounds of their labours
the storm might last long but peace will come
the stain that seems stubborn will soon be gone.

A letter to my love

The sky is blue

Your breast is true

Your legs I'll lie

This love is gonna make me blind

Sounds of bird

In shadows cast by power's sway,

The masses bear the cost each day,
Where politics, a tainted art,
Leaves lives entwined, torn apart.

Decisions made in halls of might,
Can shape the fate of endless plight,
When leaders falter, blinded, misled,
Hope withers, dreams remain unsaid.

Promises draped in lofty guise,
Yet reality reveals the lies,
A populace strained, burdened, torn,
By policies that pierce and scorn.

Economic woes, a heavy weight,
On shoulders bent by unjust fate,
Injustice thrives, inequality grows,
As corruption's poison freely flows.

The suffering masses, voiceless, endure,
Their struggles deep, their pain obscure,
Amidst the ruins of broken trust,
They stand resilient, despite the unjust.

But from the ashes, a call arises,
For change, for truth, for just surprises,
A plea for leaders with hearts aligned,
To heal the wounds, restore the mind.

In unity's strength, a future unfurled,
Where politics wields a fairer world,
Where suffering ceases, hope finds its role,
And the masses rise, taking back control.

Sounds of bird

An African woman, a tapestry divine,
Resplendent as the sun in her design,
Her voice, a chorus from the Serengeti's heart,
Echoes wisdom, tales of a world apart.

Her voice, a symphony in the air,
Resonates like a bird's sweet care,
Each word a note, melodious and clear,
Sung softly, like a bird drawing near.

With every phrase, a song takes flight,
Notes that soar in the day's pure light,
A cadence gentle, a rhythm true,
As if a bird in the morning dew.

Soft whispers carry a nightingale's tune,
In her secrets shared beneath the moon,
Each syllable, a songbird's delight,
Her voice, a choir in the quiet of night.

Like birdsong floating on the breeze,
Her voice, a melody that easily appease,
In her cadence, I find solace and mirth,
A voice akin to the sweetest bird on earth.

The voiceless one

The voiceless one

The march of relentless soldiers, as if to war, I can hear,
The home of paradise filled with tears.
Cries and wails of the trampled upon,
Yet the march of the relentless one goes on.

Listen to our voices, free us from these chains,
Songs and books written to share our pain.
Our pleas become a melody to the beat of persecution,
"March, March, March on," they say, dancing on.

The rule of law, now impudent and cold,
As the young ones wield guns and swords to their hold.
If we take their loved ones and rob them, maybe we will seem,
Our voicelessness may vanish if we disobey their command.

Oh, what blood fills the street of gold as it turns to sand,
The punishment for fighting back puts fear on man.
The street was filled with silence, placing faith in God,
He saves and delivers those who trust His name.

Arise, my people, let the voiceless one be heard,
In unity, we'll fight, reclaim our rightful bed.
A plea echoes, the mouth does not bite the hand that feeds,
Religion aside, with one strength, let's proceed.

Beneath the shadowed skies, where hope and courage blend,
Our journey continues, and oppression shall not bend.
For in the unity of purpose, a flame forever burns,
A beacon for the voiceless, as a new dawn yearns.

Silent love or sounding hate

Silent love or sounding hate

In voiceless whispers, his love did bloom,
Yet tongue-tied, he faced the gloom.
His heart, aching to reveal its song,
But silence held his words too long.

He watched her smile light up the day,
Yearned to speak, but lost his way.
Another's hand, where his should be,
Jealousy brewed, love turned to plea.

Whispers sharp, and glances cold,
His love's betrayal, a story told.
In silent steps, he sought to rue,
His heart's hurt turned into a brew.

Bitterness brewed, an envy's sting,
His silent love now hate took wing.
Actions born from wounded pride,
To repay the debt of love denied.

Oh, how he wished, in hindsight's view,
His voice unveiled his love so true.
But fate's cruel twist, a silent shove,
Left him drowned in regret of unspoken love.
